What the Cavinder Twins eat to remain in shape: Complete nutrition plan

Viral twins Hanna and Haley Cavinder are setting the record straight. Their recent post emphasized eating smartly instead of starving yourself. The social media stars just shared their daily meal plan, and it's packed with a message about body image.

Three days ago, the Cavinder twins took to their shared Instagram handle to share what they eat in a day to stay as muscular and lean as possible, with a caption that read, “This is your reminder, you don’t get 'lean' by eating less, you get there by eating smart 🤍 Protein, strength training, and consistency.”

They start their day with a few slices of kiwi dipped in honey, alongside avocado with paprika, sliced ribeye with spinach, and an egg.

Next comes chicken thighs with steamed spinach and sweet potatoes, followed by pork chops with Japanese sweet potatoes. For something sweet, the twins opt for Three Wishes cereal with cottage cheese, strawberries, and honey. It’s worth noting that they usually go for a nutritious breakfast burrito in the morning.

Interestingly, their diet used to be completely different. Previously, they chased a skinny physique, often starving themselves in the process.

“We used to chase skinny,” the influencer twins wrote on their social media. “Which meant under-eating, over-training, and wondering why nothing ever grew, especially our glutes.”

“For years, we thought less food [was similar to] better results. In reality, it just meant stalled progress, low energy, and bodies that couldn’t change.” That’s not all, they even confessed to facing eating disorders.

Cavinder Twins' confession on eating disorder

The Cavinder Twins might be known for their athletic physique today, but that was not always the case. Back in 2023, they opened up about their eating disorder that lasted for years. Since then, they have kept the conversation going,

“To be able to show by example that you can get out of that dark place, that healing is possible, and that your life doesn’t have to revolve around food or trying to shrink your body… that’s why we share,” they shared.

"We truly don’t think we would have gotten out of it if we hadn’t taken that step together and understood that what we were doing wasn’t sustainable," they added.

Every year during National Eating Disorder Awareness Month, the twins share motivational messages for people going through eating disorders. That said, what are your thoughts on them?
