Is it cool or terrifying to have Arnold Schwarzenegger as your father-in-law?

Arnold Schwarzenegger's only son-in-law, Chris Pratt, is here to give you an idea. During an interview, the Guardians of the Galaxy star answered a hot question that is on every fan's mind: "What is it like having Arnold Schwarzenegger as a father-in-law?"

"It's great actually. It's far more normal than someone might realize, having him as a father-in-law. I was just at his house, I guess two days ago, when he was painting with the kids and drawing with the kids. He's got all these animals. He's definitely a one of one. There's no one like him."

The actor also revealed that, besides being a terrific grandfather, he is a very supportive father-in-law. Being from the same industry gives Schwarzenegger an understanding of his career and makes him someone he can turn to for advice on issues like press tours and handling difficult interview questions.

Chris Pratt married Schwarzenegger's oldest child, Katherine, in 2019, and shares 3 children with her. He also has a son from his previous marriage to actress Anna Faris. His wife often shares pictures of their children spending time with their grandpa, and loving every second.

The Hollywood legend also seems impressed by his son-in-law, and on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he revealed what really drew him to the young action star. "I was, like, blown away when my daughter was telling me that she was going out with him. I say to myself, 'You have to be so competitive? Do you have to have a guy that's taller than me? That is bigger than me? That is doing bigger movies than me?"

Schwarzenegger revealed that during their first meeting, Pratt asked if they could work out together, and if Schwarzenegger could give him some 'inside scoop on pumping iron.' So, the two went to the gym together, where the former Governor of California was impressed by his workout techniques, especially the incline press, so he gave him the green signal.

Pratt also had more nice things to say about his father-in-law.

Pratt Talks About Arnold’s Love Language

During his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Chris Pratt shared another side of Arnold Schwarzenegger that not many people know. According to Pratt, the 78-year-old's love language is giving sweet gifts to his family.

“He’s so good at giving personalized gifts, like quilts with our faces. And for Mother’s Day, he had me bring all the children over, and he set up a whole painting party. It was very cute to see the Governator, you know, painting with the girls. And he had the girls make handprints.”

He continued saying that he then made Pratt bring his son the next day to do his handprint, which he then painted into a bouquet with a Mother’s Day wish for his daughter, Katherine.
