When LeBron James’ Physique Left 8x Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman Impressed

LeBron James already owns a résumé that makes legends sweat, but here’s the twist: even eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman is impressed. Not for rings or records, but for the King’s freakish, bodybuilder-level physique.

Back in 2023, Coleman sat down with Ranveer Allahbadia for a long conversation about his life, during which Ranveer asked him who his favourite non-bodybuilding physique was. Coleman initially said, “I mean anybody that’s, you know, worked hard to get what they have.”

However, when Ranveer threw LeBron James' name into the equation, Coleman was pretty quick to agree, “yeah, yeah. Any athlete, you know, yeah, I can look at him, and you admire. I’ve seen a lot of football players, a lot of basketball players, you know, you can tell they worked hard to attain the body, especially LeBron.”

Ronnie Coleman expressed that, unlike what fans say about LeBron getting older and not being able to jump as high as he used to in his prime, he is still a gifted individual, “but he’s still a hell of an athlete, you know? Yeah, and he’s still not normal, you know, genetically gifted in a major way.”

LeBron James is arguably one of the best players the sport has ever seen. A 4× NBA Champion, 4× NBA Finals MVP, and 4× NBA Regular-Season MVP, his records speak for themselves.

Oftentimes, Generation Iron has called LeBron James the ‘Ronnie Coleman of basketball’ due to his dominance. Interestingly, Kevin Levrone believes that people like Coleman and LeBron are just gifts from God.

“He put the workload on his muscles to make them get to a level where there were deep cuts, deep striations, and hard work. And that’s where his body prevailed,” Levrone said about Ronnie Coleman.

Both Ronnie Coleman and LeBron James have dominated their respective sports, from an 8× Mr. Olympia to a 4× NBA champion. Their résumés speak for themselves, and when Kevin Levrone weighed in on them, his answer was obvious: they are gifted by the Almighty.

“The things he’d do in videos with that amount of weight. It’s not normal strength. It’s a gift from God. Number one. To be able to do that,” Levrone concluded.

Given that, what is your opinion on Ronnie Coleman’s thoughts on LeBron James? State your opinion on the comments below.
