WWE champion's shock return to bodybuilding gets online attention

WWE superstar Tiffany Stratton is revisiting her old passion as her unexpected return to bodybuilding sparks online attention.

The former Women's champion shared the news on TikTok that she is nine weeks out from competing in her second bodybuilding competition. The competition is falling right after WrestleMania, so it won't mess with her schedule.

"I am currently nine weeks out from my second bodybuilding show ever. And I'm gonna step on stage again and just kind of see where things are at. I remember, I fell in love with bodybuilding, and then I got signed to WWE, so I couldn't really do both at the same time, but I feel like now I'm in a position to where I feel like I can balance it now."

Stratton had left her bodybuilding career behind after being signed to WWE, as it wasn't possible for her to juggle between two sports. According to her wrestling coach, Greg Gagne, she had even set a record in her weightlifting class.

But now the Women's Money in the Bank winner says that she is in a position to manage both easily. The details regarding which bodybuilding competition she is entering are still under wraps.

Tiffany Stratton's plans for WWE

2026 is the year of return for Tiffany Stratton; she also returned to WWE last month at the Royal Rumble premium event, after suffering an injury last October.

Although she didn't win the match, she managed to get a spot in the Women's Elimination Chamber match against Lash Legend and Chelsea Green, held on February 6.

Stratton ended up winning the match and is now set to compete in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on February 28 in Chicago.

Before her return, Stratton's last match was held on November 1 last year at Saturday Night's Main Event, where she lost her WWE Women's Championship title to Jade Cargill.

Bianca Blair was set to compete with Cargill for the title shot, but after suffering a finger injury, her chances aren't looking good. This leaves an option open for other contenders to get a shot at winning the title, and one such name is Tiffany Stratton.
